Tuaman in Ferrous & Non-Ferrous engineering
Tuaman is executing EPC of the first Non-Recovery type Coke Oven of 1.8 Lakh TPA with an Indigenous Technology for the first time in India for KIOCL Limited at Mangalore, Karnatake, which is a PSU under Ministry of Steel of Government of India. The project involves design & engineering, procurement, construction & commissioning of the whole package which includes major civil work including 638 numbers of Piles & other foundations, construction of two numbers of Coke Oven Batteries having 30 Ovens each, fabrication & erection of 3200 MT of steel structures and supply & erection of various equipment. The success of the project shall establish India as a producer of Coal based Coke and shall reduce the dependency of importing Coal based Coke from other countries.
Tuaman also executing EPC of “Red Mud Washing” package for NALCO at Damanjodi, Orissa. The project involves design-engineering including 3D modelling, procurement, construction & commissioning of the whole package which includes major civil works, fabrication & erection of 24 numbers of large tanks, 1.7 lakh inch-meter of piping, supply & erection of various equipment like Flocculation System, Slurry Pumps, Angular Slurry Valves, Agitators, Rake Drive, Mud Disposal Pumps etc. The Alumina Refinery waste of Bauxite is being handled through this package by segregating slurry, waste & residual Alumina/ Bauxite being sent back to mainstream & waste as Red Mud is being disposed.
